Chitwan Jungle Safari:

Located in the lush plains of the Terai region in southern Nepal, Chitwan Jungle Safari is one of the country’s top destinations for jungle adventures. Renowned for its rich biodiversity, the park is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, offering a unique opportunity to encounter rare and endangered species such as the one-horned rhinoceros and the royal Bengal tiger.

In 1984, it earned the prestigious status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site in recognition of its ecological importance. It is home to an impressive variety of wildlife:

  • 56 species of mammals, including elephants, leopards, sloth bears, and wild boars.
  • 543 species of birds, making it a paradise for birdwatchers.
  • 126 species of fish.
  • 590 species of butterflies.
  • 47 species of reptiles, including marsh crocodiles and monitor lizards.

Pokhara:

Pokhara is the most beautiful city of Nepal and it is 6-7 hours scenic drive (6-7 hrs) or 30 minutes flight away from Kathmandu, approximately 200 km west of the capital. The journey offers beautiful landscapes and stunning views of the Himalayas. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you'll be captivated by the city's serene ambiance and picturesque surroundings. Explore beautiful Phewa Lake, where you can enjoy boating and catch reflections of the Annapurna mountain range. Visit the World Peace Pagoda, Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Lord Shiva statue - Pumdikot and the International Mountain Museum. Adventure Activities: Pokhara is also known for its adventure activities. Consider going paragliding, zip-lining, Bungee, or hiking in the nearby hills like Sarangkot and Pumdikot.

Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, a representative from Taleju Adventure will greet you with a placard bearing your name. You’ll be transferred to your hotel, where a warm welcome with tea/coffee awaits.

Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 1

After a short briefing with your tour guide, embark on a full-day UNESCO heritage tour. 

  • Pashupatinath Temple – Nepal’s largest Hindu temple and cremation site.
  • Boudhanath Stupa – The largest stupa in Asia, beautifully restored after the 2015 earthquake.
  • Swayambhunath Stupa – Also known as the "Monkey Temple," offers panoramic views of Kathmandu valley.
  • Patan Durbar Square – Explore ancient royal palaces and temples including Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, and more, while learning about Newari culture and architecture Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2

A tourist coach will take you from Kathmandu to Chitwan. It will be 5-6 hours drive. Upon reaching Chitwan, hotel representative will guide you to the hotel. Later, you will be briefed by your nature guide. Later in the day, you will have a tour of Tharu village and enjoy Tharu cultural program followed by dinner.

Day 3

Today you will join different activities in Chitwan National Park.

  • Breakfast 
  • Elephant back safari 

Elephant safari is the most popular wildlife activity in Chitwan. Elephant guide you through the jungles; we can see many wild animals like Deer, wild boar, one horn Rhino and Bengal Tiger.

  • Lunch 
  • Canoe ride 

Canoeing ride along the Rapti river inside the Chitwan National Park and take a close view of Crocodiles, rare species of birds, reptiles and other wild animals.

  • Visit elephant breeding center 

This Elephant Breeding center is opened in 1984. You can see both babies and adults elephant.

  • Dinner
Day 4

After breakfast, you will be heading to Pokhara by road. It will be 6-7 hours drive. Upon check-in hotel, rest of the day will be free and easy.

Day 5

Early in the morning, you'll drive to the famous Sarangkot Hill, renowned for its breathtaking sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. After soaking in the stunning vistas, return to the hotel for breakfast.

Following breakfast, your sightseeing tour begins with a visit to the International Mountain Museum, which showcases the history, culture, and achievements of the Himalayan mountaineering world. Next, explore the mystical Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, located near the scenic Davis Falls—a powerful waterfall that disappears into an underground tunnel. 

You'll then head to Pumdikot to see the impressive Shiva statue, offering panoramic views of the Pokhara Valley. The day concludes with a peaceful visit to the World Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa), a symbol of peace situated atop a hill overlooking Phewa Lake.

Day 6

After breakfast, we bid farewell to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara and begin our drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is free for you to rest or enjoy some souvenir shopping.

Day 7

A Taleju Adventure representative will escort you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home, you may plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.

Day 8
